Florian Cornu

Florian began his career in Europe as a fund manager for a global equity fund, investing in listed entrepreneurs & companies.

Drawn to Asia, he relocated to Singapore founding his first startup; which became Asia’s largest travel e-commerce marketplace and got acquired in 2014.

Since then, Florian has been an advisor & supporter of the startup ecosystem. He coded Map of the Money, a data-visualisation of investors, and hosted SaaS Business Asia, the first SaaS ecosystem conference in the region. Witnessing the challenges CEO’s faced, he developed a software to aggregate financial data from Xero to create better business modelling, financial projections, unit economics & executive dashboards.

Throughout this journey he has advised & worked with Asia’s fastest growing startups including Ticked Media/theAsianparent, TradeGecko, MoneySmart, Nugit, CtrlShift.

His purpose is to empower entrepreneurs to solve the global goals before 2030.

When not playing with data, Florian can be found hosting experiential dinners with deep conversations about the future, or in his garden rooftop designing hydroponics systems to prepare his family for Mars!
